Consider your moving date, rent amount, location, and amenities ahead of time so that I can narrow down your preferences and make efficient use of your time. Once we determine your needs, I will schedule appointments to visit rental properties that meet your criteria. Please be aware that there is no charge to you for these services.
Credit Reports are crucial today when looking to rent. If you have a current credit report, please have this on hand. You can obtain one free credit report per year on http://www.annualcreditreport.com. If your credit is less than perfect due to a past foreclosure or layoff, be prepared to possibly pay larger security deposits or supply evidence of employment.
Once you find a rental unit that you like, please be prepared to provide:
1. Drivers License: to verify your identity when filling out an application.
2. Checkbook: The application usually includes a non-refundable fee for credit/criminal background checks.
3. Names & Phone Numbers: You will need to provide previous landlord information, employer information, and possible references.
